Dr Olly Allen undertook training in clinical microbiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He was appointed as a Consultant Microbiologist at Royal Papworth Hospital in 2015. He is an Honorary Consultant Microbiologist for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and for Public Health England.
