Dr Charlotte Paddison has been appointed as the new associate non-executive director at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Charlotte joins with more than 10 years of experience working in senior leadership roles in health research and policy, with a focus on improving patients’ experiences of health and social care.
A senior fellow at the Nuffield Trust - a politically independent health policy think tank - Charlotte was previously a senior research associate at the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Cambridge.
She has also been a public governor for community mental health trust Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust from 2016 - 2018.
“I am delighted to be joining Royal Papworth and working with the Board and all staff to support excellent care for our patients. They, ultimately, sit at the heart of everything we do,” said Dr Paddison.
Dr Paddison replaces Diane Leacock who herself is becoming a non-executive director to fill the vacancy left by Dr Jag Ahluwalia’s move to Chairman, which happens on Thursday 1 February.
